Living the Moment!

Due to Certain unfortunate events working in tandem, new doors of consecutive epiphanies have been cracked open to me. I was never the contemplating type of person; don’t mention to be a dreamer too. I was a spontaneous person, with dreams but with instant and present tense strategies. My visions were never with a planned charter or a draft. I was a ‘today’ person, a pity loafer and a textbook example of a procrastinator.
I utterly despised my extremely flawed persona, I knew something big is wrong with me, I knew I should start being a planner, a punctual person, a strict law abiding human.

That was all true until recently, due to some ‘unfortunate events working in tandem’ I had the greatest epiphany of all, an ‘eye-opener’, I am still that pity loafer, that textbook procrastinator, but now I have reached inner peace that my way of living is the perfect way of living for anybody, not only me.

Human Being is Weakling. All what we does, did or do is already planned by Allah Caza Wa jal. If someone is destined to Jannah then he is going to do the deeds of Ahlu janna and if someone is destined to Jahanam then he is going to do the deeds of Ahlu jahanam. It is all written by the almighty.

From this simple but echoic sentence, I engaged in a short conversation with my simple heart and mind. We all agreed that there is no point in being detained for the ghost of “what will happen?” there is no point in being a captive of the Life, There is no point in worrying about future, After all who knows if I am ever going to make it for the next day.

Living in the moment is not as bad as it sounds, that is true only if it’s employed in the correct manner. It involves choosing the appropriate option at every minute of your life, As long as you have the ability to choose. Many consecutive right decisions make up for an acceptable life, For example, a student deciding to study now then later ( that same moment) , Praying Salah now rather than later (the moment) etc….
